Increase awareness of the shared responsibility for patient safety amongst learners in healthcare related courses.

• Consider the actions of a healthcare hero and the challenges of advocating for patient safety in complex environments
• Identify the who, what and why of advocating for patient safety
• Learn and apply the ISBAR framework to help you advocate for patient safety and apply it in a healthcare simulated scenario.

This course will enable you to consider your responsibilities in advocating for patient safety and provides strategies that you can use to advocate for patient safety in a healthcare setting.
