Expand medical vocabulary and knowledge in areas such as:

• Hospital units and departments
• People and roles in healthcare settings.

This will help demonstrate your ability to use simple healthcare terminology in common non-clinical workplace scenarios.

Learning experience:

To successfully complete this microcredential, you will complete 3 modules:

• Modules 1 & 2: Compete with your colleagues to learn medical terms in a series of learning games (20 min)
• Module 3: Discuss the use of these terms in your workplace with your Peer Assessor (10 min)

You will need to successfully complete the following assessments:

• Medical terminology quiz
• Units and departments quiz
• Submit your Peer Assessment

At the end, you will be provided with a handy terminology quick reference sheet to help you in your role.
